CONCORD, Mass. – Work to replace subsurface utility conduits at the Cape Cod Canal field office in Buzzards Bay, Mass., will be completed under the terms of a $148,970.00 contract recently awarded by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District.
The project work will be accomplished by Ryan Niroomand-Rad, of Savage, Minn. The contract was awarded on June 14, 2016.
The contracted work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment and materials to install new subsurface utility conduits near the Sandwich Marina in Sandwich, Mass. Work also includes excavation, trenching, installation of utility conduits, manhole structures, pull-boxes, backfill and asphalt patching.
Work also includes four new manhole structures, 11 new pull boxes and installation of schedule 80 PVC conduits.
The project will be managed by the Corps of Engineers under the supervision of a Corps of Engineers’ Quality Assurance Representative to assure compliance with contract requirements.
