CONCORD, Mass. – Work to repair/retrofit lighting fixtures and install occupancy sensors in multiple buildings at the U.S. Army Soldier Systems Center in Natick, Mass., will be completed under the terms of a $708,756.00 contract recently awarded by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District.
Work will be accomplished by M2 Electric LLC, of Mine Hill, N.J. The contract was awarded on Sept. 30, 2014.
The Natick Soldier Systems Center is upgrading lighting, switches and branch wiring with selected buildings and areas. Work includes renovating and replacing all standard switches to occupancy sensors within selected buildings and areas, renovating and replacing all exterior lighting on poles, and structures with energy efficient fixtures, and replacement of existing non-LED exit lighting with battery backup in accordance with specified requirements.
Work requirements will be managed by the Corps under the supervision of a Corps’ Quality Assurance Representative to assure compliance with contract requirements.
