Seaside Park Shore and Bank Protection Project

Seaside Park in Bridgeport extends about two miles westward from Breezy Point at Bridgeport Harbor to the breakwater on Fayenveather Island, on the eastern side of Black Rock Harbor.

The project consists of approximately 8,800 feet of beach widened to 125 feet by the direct placement of sand. It was completed in April 1957 and cost $480,000.
