Work to start on design on or about Nov. 1: Corps awards $1.2 million contract for building repairs, air handling unit replacement at Natick

CONCORD, Mass. Building repairs and other work at the U.S. Army Natick Soldiers Center in Natick, Mass., will be completed under the terms of a $1,237,303.13 design-build contract awarded recently by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District.

 

Work will be accomplished by Security Construction Services, Inc., of Hudson, Mass. Work is scheduled to start on the design on or about Nov. 1, 2012. The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of September 2013. The contract was awarded on Sept. 28, 2012.  

 

The work includes Soldier System Center (SSC) building 4 roof repairs and replacement of the air handling unit at the U.S. Army Soldiers Center SSC in Natick.

 

The project will be managed by the Corps and all work will be accomplished under the supervision of a Corps’ Quality Assurance Representative to assure compliance with contract requirements.
