Plymouth Town Beach Shore and Bank Protection Project

Plymouth Town Beach

Plymouth Town Beach is located along the Warren Cove section of Plymouth, immediately south of a state-built seawall situated at the base of Plymouth Harbor’s long spit.

The project involved the construction of two groins, each about 300 feet long, and a concrete seawall about 165 feet long. The seawall was completed in June 1961 and the two groins in November 1968. The total cost of the project was $16,000.
