The International Joint Commission’s (IJC) International St. Croix River Watershed Board (Board) is holding its annual public meeting on the evening of Monday, June 17th, 2013 at 6:00 pm Eastern time, 7:00 pm Atlantic time.  The meeting will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 9, 43 Queen Street West in St. Stephen, New Brunswick.

IJC Commissioner Rich Moy and St. Croix Board Co-Chairs Bill Appleby and Colonel Charles Samaris will welcome St. Croix River Basin residents and interested parties who attend the meeting.

The meeting will include a presentation of the Board’s annual report.  Invited guest speaker Jonathan Carr, fisheries biologist of the Atlantic Salmon Federation, will provide an informational presentation on “Restoration of alewife (gaspereau) in Maine and New Brunswick rivers”.  There will also be time for public comments and questions on the St. Croix River.
