CONCORD, Mass. – Two recreational facilities in Vermont owned and operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District will be open for public use in May.
Union Village Dam, located in East Thetford, Vermont, will open May 19, and North Hartland Lake, located in North Hartland, Vermont, will open May 26.
Both facilities will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily and offer picnicking, swimming, fishing, and hiking opportunities, in addition to a boat ramp at North Hartland Lake.
