Public meeting set for Nov. 19th: Corps of Engineers to hold public meeting on status of Watertown Arsenal GSA Property site

CONCORD, Mass. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District will host a public meeting on Nov. 19, 2012 to provide an update on the status of the environmental restoration of the Watertown Arsenal GSA Property site in Watertown, Mass.

 

The meeting is open to the interested public and will be held on Monday, Nov. 19, 2012 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the counselor’s chamber room of the Watertown Town Hall in Watertown.

 

The Corps of Engineers will provide an overview presentation on scheduled pre-remedial activities at the Watertown Arsenal GSA Property site in Watertown. The pre-remedial activities include the demolition of Buildings 635, 234, 235, 236 and 237 and are scheduled to begin this year.

 

After the Corps presentation there will be an opportunity for the public to provide comments or ask questions on the work performed and the plan for future work.
