Majority of West Hill Road not a public road: No existing public access to West Hill Park via West Hill Road at West Hill Dam in Uxbridge

Published May 24, 2019

CONCORD, Mass. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District manages and operates West Hill Park located at the West Hill Dam and Reservoir Project in the towns of Uxbridge, Northbridge, Upton and Mendon, Massachusetts.

Historically, West Hill Park has been accessed by visitors through the use of West Hill Road. However, it has come to our attention that the majority of West Hill Road is not a public road and there is no existing public access to West Hill Park via West Hill Road.

At this time we ask that the public, who wish to visit the West Hill recreational facilities, park at our West Hill Dam Project Office, located at 518 E. Hartford Avenue in Uxbridge.

We appreciate your continued patronage at West Hill Park and are pleased to announce that there will be no Day-Use Fees for the 2019 season. As a reminder, the park is open May 18th through September 8th from the hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
