CONCORD, Mass. – Engineers, scientists and other professionals who work at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District are available to visit clubs, schools, organizations and other groups to provide information on their professions and their jobs at the Corps of Engineers.
The Corps can supply speakers to clubs, organizations, educational institutions and special interest groups in the New England area. There is no cost to the club or organization. Prepared audiovisual presentations and displays also are available for showing. This is made available through the Speaker’s Bureau, sponsored by the public affairs office.
Speakers from the Corps are professionals in various fields who are prepared to present topics of interest to the public. They are your neighbors and friends, and though you may not realize it, these subject matter experts are available to address audiences on a variety of subjects. Professions represented of Corps employees include archeology, architecture, biology, environmental restoration, forestry, geology, hydrology, natural resource management, regulatory and permitting, surveying, water resources, wetlands and diverse engineering disciplines.
