Elm Brook Park in Hopkinton to Open for Season; Closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays through June

HOPKINTON, N.H.Elm Brook Park, owned and operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District will open for the season on Saturday, May 27, 2017.

 

This federally managed recreation area offers picnic tables and grills, playground equipment, horseshoe pits, a swim beach, a short nature trail, a boat ramp, and four picnic shelters which can be reserved in advance for a fee.

 

Interpretive programs are provided by uniformed park rangers and interpretive exhibits are located in the Ranger Station. Please note that pets are not allowed in the park.

 

The recreation use fee for the area is $5.00 per car. An annual pass is available for $40.00. Federal “America the Beautiful” Interagency Passes are also sold and accepted.

 

Picnic shelter reservations can be made by calling the National Recreation Reservation Service toll free at (877) 444-6777 or online at www.recreation.gov.

 

Elm Brook Park, located off of Route 127 in Hopkinton is open daily through Labor Day. Park hours are Monday, Thursday, and Friday (including holidays) from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and Weekends from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm. Due to a staffing shortage the park will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays through the end of June.  During September, the park closes at 7:00 pm on Weekends.
