  • Nationwide Permit Program in New England Outreach Events Update

    UPDATE: The Connecticut event location has changed. The event will now be held at the CT DEEP Marine District Headquarters, 333 Ferry Road, Old Lyme, CT. Event times and the virtual attendance link have not changed. SUBJECT: Announcement of the upcoming U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District (USACE) outreach events regarding implementation of the Nationwide Permit Program in New England. PURPOSE: USACE is holding in-person outreach events in each New England state to inform our agency partners, the general public, applicants, and consultants about the New England District’s planned implementation of the Nationwide Permits (NWPs), application procedures, and the transition from the currently used Regional General Permits.
  • Mandatory Implementation of the National Dredging Quality Management Program for All Regulatory Dredging Permits within the New England District

    Purpose: On December 19, 2025, a memorandum directed immediate and mandatory implementation of the national Dredging Quality Management (DQM) Program for monitoring all U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) in-house and contracted dredging actions. The intent is to standardize data collection, enhance project oversight, and improve the overall delivery of the USACE dredging mission. The DQM program is a partnership between USACE and the dredging industry that provides a standardized framework for automated, near real-time monitoring of dredging projects
