The Trustees of Reservations is proposing to implement Phase III of the Great Marsh Restoration Project, a large-scale effort to restore degraded salt marsh habitat within the Great Marsh ecosystem in Essex and Ipswich, Massachusetts. The project aims to improve marsh hydrology, increase resilience to sea-level rise, restore ecological functions, and enhance wildlife habitat across 248-acres of coastal wetland.
