The applicant is requesting a DA permit to complete work in navigable waters of the U.S. and discharge fill material into waters of the U.S. to reconstruct a 4,900 linear foot revetment and for placement of beach nourishment material. The revetment construction will involve discharging 15,152 cubic yards of fill material into 64,468 square feet of waters of the U.S. Beach nourishment will involve discharging 1,158 cubic yards of fill material into 14,203 square feet of waters of the
U.S. To facilitate this work, temporary construction access areas will involve discharging 740 cubic yards of fill material into 11,439 square feet of waters of the U.S. Once construction is completed, the temporary fill associated with construction access will be removed in their entirety and the affected areas returned to pre-construction elevations.
