This notice informs the public of a proposed modification to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (“Corps”), New England District Compensatory Mitigation Standard Operating Procedures. This modification applies to activities requiring Corps authorization under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act and Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act. This modification will include standardizing the compensatory mitigation threshold requirement across the New England District (“District”) for mitigation of adverse impacts to aquatic resources.
