The District Engineer announces the preliminary intent of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District (Corps), to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement with Rhode Island Energy (RIE) to accept and expend funds from RIE to expedite processing of their Department of the Army (DA) permit applications, subject to certain limitations pursuant to Section 214 of the Water Resources Development Act of 2000 (as amended).
