Sound Ocean Farm has submitted a permit application to conduct work in the waters of Long Island Sound, southeast of Indian Neck, near Branford, CT. The work involves installation of lines, buoys, anchors and other aids to navigation for the cultivation of a winter crop of sugar kelp (saccarina lattissima).
