Looking east across the Malden River towards the northernmost island, the north end of the oxbow and the Everett shore. The purpose of the Malden River Ecosystem Restoration Project is to restore river ecosystem to the highest quality with three primary restoration objectives: wetlands restoration, aquatic habitat restoration and riverine migratory restoration.
