York Harbor Dredging, York, Maine

US Army Corps of Engineers, New England District will dredge sections of the channel and anchorages of the York Harbor Federal Navigation Project in York, Maine. Dredging operations will commence on or after 1 November 2017. The dredged sediments will be placed at the Cape Arundel Disposal Site located approximately 2.8 Nautical Miles southeast of Cape Arundel.

To the right is a map specifying the Haul Route (dated 2 October 2017) to be used by the dredging contractor transiting to and from the dredged material placement site.  All fishing gear must be removed from within the specified haul route to avoid damage to or loss of fishing gear due to dredged material disposal operations.
