The Maine Department of Transportation has submitted an application to conduct work in Valley Brook, Avon, ME to install concrete cable mat scour protection for the substructure of the Route 4 bridge. This work is designed to stabilize critical transportation infrastructure, insure public safety, and protect the economic vitality of Maine's transportation network.
