The Wampanoag Tribe of Gay Head (Aquinnah) has submitted a permit application to conduct work throughout the entirety of Herring Creek from Menemsha Pond to Squibnocket Pond in Aquinnah, MA. The purpose of this project is to maintain fisheries resources by dredging the channel in order to re-establish a channel and increase flow through the creek.
