The New England District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) has received an application for a Department of the Army permit pursuant to Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S.C. §1344), and the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Northeast District has received an application for the approval of location and plans for the replacement of a bridge over a navigable waterway of the United States pursuant to the General Bridge Act of 1946, as amended (33 U.S.C. § § 525-533) and Section 9 of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899 (33 U.S.C. § § 401, 502).
