The Campground will be open for its regular season from May 18th through September 9th.
Campground Rules
Alcohol is prohibited.
Visitor Hours, 9am to 10pm. Visitors shall park in the visitor lot.
Quiet hours are 10pm to 8am. Entrance gate is locked at 10pm.
Afterhours camper parking is available in the visitor parking lot.
Two vehicles or one vehicle and one trailer registered to campers per site.
Check In time is 2 PM
Check Out time is 12 Noon
Pets on leash. Campers will be asked to remove unruly pets.
Speed limit inside the campground is 5 mph.
Washing dishes or clothes in restrooms is prohibited.
Cutting of live vegtetation is prohibited.
Maximum of 6 People (adults and children) per site.
Campers must be at least 18 years of age to Reserve a site.
Swimming in the lake is prohibited.
No unattended campfires allowed.
Other rules applicable to the public use of this area are contained in Title 36, U.S. Code of Federal Regulations which is posted at the comfort station.
West Thompson Lake Campground offers 24 campsites (11 basic sites, 11 premium sites with electrical and water hookups, and 2 lean-to shelters). All the sites are private and wooded with level gravel surfaces. There are handicapped accessible comfort station with flush toilets and hot showers. Dump station, public telephone and firewood are also available. The entire family will enjoy the nature programs, hiking trails,children's play area and horseshoe pit. A public boat ramp affords boating and fishing enthusiasts access to the 200-acre lake. Onsite campground hosts and park rangers are available to assist campers. West Thompson Campground is suited for all types of Rv's. From small truck-back pop-up's to 45 footers. We have a site for you!!

West Thompson also has lean-to sites. A great place to stay the night passing through on long bike ride or hike. No need to bring a tent. But reserve early we only have 2 of these sites available.

If tent camping is your thing here is what we offer for a site. They all have a fire ring and Picnic table on a level gravel surface.

There is a comfort station at West Thompson Campground. With flush toilets and hot showers it makes camping a breeze.
