Dec: Canoe Launch closes for season when snow plowing begins
Will reopen April 1 if there is no spring flooding. When gate is closed, you may park outside the gate as long as you don't block either gate at the turn-in (gates may be used for emergency access).

Nov 26 - Dec 8: Shotgun Season
If you visit the park, please wear bright orange jacket and hat, and do not display any white or brown that could be mistaken for a white-tail deer. Take precautionary measures to keep your pets safe such as keeping them on a leash. Hunting is allowed on Corps of Engineers property in accordance with state hunting laws.
