Birch Hill Dam provides flood damage reduction during high river flows, but the rest of the time the 4,384-acre property provides open space for a variety of outdoor recreation activities.

The Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation's Otter River State Forest leases and operates 4,221 acres of our property for recreation, including the popular Lake Dennison Recreation Area and Campground.
