Parking/no fees: West Hill Day Use Area change in operation

CONCORD, Mass. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District, manages and operates West Hill Park Day Use Area as part of the West Hill Reservoir and Dam Project in the towns of Uxbridge, Northbridge, Upton and Mendon, Massachusetts. 

 

West Hill Park Day Use Area will be open from May 18 through September 8, 2019. Operating hours for the park are from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The park offers a variety of recreational facilities, including a swim beach, picnic shelters, playground and hiking trails. 

 

Parking is now located at West Hill Dam, 518 E. Hartford Avenue, Uxbridge, MA 01569. Visitors to West Hill Park Day Use Area will have to walk approximately one mile, from the Dam parking lot to the beach and picnic area. Restrooms and drinking water are available in the park. Shelter reservation are available and must be made in person at the West Hill Dam office.

 

If you will be visiting West Hill please plan accordingly as parking is limited. We encourage drop offs or carpooling. There will be no Day Use Fees for the 2019 season.
